Octopus Grids | Etching
Inspired by a cylindrical sun-dial, where a shadow is cast on a particular line, indicating the current time. his print was created by drawing and etching the linework onto a copper plate using ferric chloride acid. The tone was done by multiple trips to the acid tank to create an aquatint tone. The plate was then printed by hand on paper using an etching press.
